Judicial Duties and Democratic Rights!

We, at Pune Collective, are pleased to invite you to our fourth session on 5th September 2020.

Judicial Duties and Democratic Rights!

Judiciary is one of the cornerstones of our democracy. Constitutional courts are guardians of our fundamental rights. While the judiciary is an independent and impartial body, it has been subject to considerable criticism in the last few years. In the current times, it is important to discuss the Indian judiciary system and its constitutional role.

In this fourth session of the Pune Collective, we will be joined by two towering personalities: Former Supreme Court Judge, Jasti Chelameswar, and social activist and Asst. Professor at ILS Law College, Dr. Nitish Nawasagaray.

This session will be in Marathi and English.
